Fronter signs OEM-agreement with IntelliSearch

Fronter and IntelliSearch have entered into an OEM-agreement. The agreement entails integration of IntelliSearch Search engine into Fronter’s digital learning platform. Fronter views search as key in supporting the collaboration between teachers and students. This functionality is expected to significantly improve Fronter’s product offering and competitiveness. The market for learning-platforms is expected to grow in Europe and Fronter sees a large potential ahead.

Growth in Norway and Europe

All high schools in Norway have purchased a digital learning platform. The platform is used to support the school work as well as introducing new learning methods. The ability to extend the communication and collaboration between teacher/pupil in addition to flexibility enhancing tools, represent a major part of the platform’s functionality. The UK government has recently decided that all schools shall introduce learning platforms by 2008. Denmark and Germany is expected to follow. Fronter with its 2 million end-users, including 500.000 daily users, is one of the leading vendors in this market. This OEM agreement allows Fronter to introduce advanced search to its end-user, and the possibility to purchase further seats for additional users.

Search improves learning
