Kredittilsynet (The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) deploys IntelliSearch to improve their information access

Kredittilsynet has signed a contract with IntelliSearch for Enterprise Search across data sources. IntelliSearch ENTERPRISE will be Kredittilsynet’s central information access in their new intranet solution

Advanced Search increases productivity and simplifies the Public sector
Kredittilsynet is currently implementing a new intranet solution. According to their project leader Chalotte Bjørn: ”Search-functionality is important in our intranet ambition of making our employees’ work-day more simplified and efficient. We chose IntelliSearch ENTERPRISE as the technology enables information access to various sources from one work space – the intranet. The IntelliSearch platform will access information from file servers, MS Exchange, case and document handling system. The solution will be rolled-out in the spring of 2007” says Ms Bjørn.

The search engine will be integrated with EPI-server, Windows Filserver, Exhange Outlook, and ACOS Websak. Creuna is Kredittilsynet’s systemintegrator.

Advanced search introduces one central information access to all cases, files and documents - from one user interface and independent of source and technology. The IntelliSearch platform enables retrieval and reuse of relevant cases, yielding a simpler way to standardize case handling and increase the quality and predictability in practicing the rule of law. The Enterprise Search Platform offers key-word search and advanced search based on relevance technology. The platform can search all texts, from any file, including pdf-files that are interpreted by the search engine. The search result is presented in a user-friendly interface that includes categorization of the search result, and thus enabling easy retrieval of a specific case or similar cases.
