ePhorte-customers get SEARCH aid with IntelliSearch

ErgoGroup, a leading document and case management vendor in the Public sector with the ePhorte solution, is seeing the advantages of a partner agreement with IntelliSearch. The ePhorte customers, Telemark Hospital and the Norwegian Directorate of Education, have chosen the IntelliSearch search platform.

Advanced search in ePhorte
With the IntelliSearch search platform, ePhorte customers get advanced search beyond traditional metadata and file search. IntelliSearch’s solution allows users to search file content and to find similar documents and cases. The search platform enables ePhorte customers in the public sector to simplify and standardize the case handling, and increase the quality and predictability in government decisions. The platform searches text in any file, including pdf-files that are OCR-interpreted by the search engine. The search results are presented in a user-friendly way through categorisation, and allow case-workers to easily find a specific case or a case with similar and relevant content.

Search is central to eGovernment initiatives
According to the Head of Department at the Norwegian Directorate of Education, Morten Haug Frøyen, Search is a central part in their vision of an all-electronic case handling process. Mr. Frøyen states that the IntelliSearch’s search platform enables case-workers to find information across systems such as ePhorte, email, file servers and intranet, all through a simple and user friendly user interface. The ambition is that quick and easy access to relevant information will ensure high levels of service, quality and predictability in practicing the rule of law”, says Mr. Frøyen.
The Search platform connects to portals, mail and file servers, database, document management systems, case archives, CRM, ERP, news feeds etc, in ways that allow public agencies to introduce electronic case processing – from self-service web pages to internal case handling systems.
